30 Day Challenge: Day 30 – Morning Routine

Day 30 – Write about your morning routine

Most days I wake up around 5-5:15am and go to the YMCA to work out. (Unless I’m feeling lazy, then I go back to sleep). If I go work out, I usually either run or use the cross ramp machine for a half hour and then swim for a half hour, take a shower quick, and then head to work at 7am.

30 Day Challenge: Day 29 – Fame

Day 29 – If you could be famous for one thing, what would it be?

As I was thinking about this question and how I would answer it, I thought it was “If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?” which I have an answer to. But of cooooourse that’s not the question. So I’ll just go ahead and answer both. I doubt I’ll ever be famous, but if I could, I’d want it to be for a meaningful book I wrote. Otherwise, for something unrealistic, I think it would be awesome to be a famous singer, although I have no music talent whatsoever.

Now, as for being remembered for something…we actually just talked about this in class the other night. I’d want people to remember me for how I cared about others more than myself and how I tried to help those around me. The struggle with those things, that I’ve dealt with for a long time, is not losing myself. I have a hard time asking for things I want or need because I’m so focused on others. I need to somehow find a balance between being an doormat and being caring and warm.

30 Day Challenge: Day 28 – Dreams

Day 28 – Write about the last dream you remember having

I remember having a dream last night about trying to get someone (the person was strange to me, but now I can’t remember who it was) to scratch my back. I woke up and it itched really bad but was right in the spot where I couldn’t reach unless I felt like dislocating my shoulder. At that point I would have let the creeper scratch it all he wanted because it basically drove me crazy until I got up.

30 Day Challenge: Day 27 – Most Memorable Vacation

Day 27 – What was your most memorable vacation?

My most memorable vacation was when I went to Europe the summer before my senior year of high school. I think mostly it was memorable just because of all the places we were able to visit and all of the great landmarks/historic sites we saw. Aside from that, our group has some pretty funny/unforgettable experiences. I’ll never forget the fact that they fed us chicken and french fries for every meal, getting stuck in an elevator, wandering out the wrong door at Versailles and being stuck outside for basically the entire time we were there, getting one of the worst sunburns of my life and having to ride on an overnight train that was so small there was no room to move, jamming out on the Fran bus to our song, and so much more.

I never imagined I’d travel to Europe before I was an adult, but I’m so thankful I was able to take that trip. I’m also thankful for the friends I made, and still have, from that experience!

30 Day Challenge Days 24 & 25

Day 24 – Who was your childhood celebrity crush?

I remember really liking Brian from the Backstreet Boys. I also liked Brad Pitt quite a bit.

Day 25 – What’s in your purse?

Everything. Seriously. I have: chapstick, gum, hand sanitizer, my wallet, floss, 2 iPods, hand lotion, my check book, pens, tylenol, vitamins, gloves, tylenol pm, cough drops…and probably even more I’m not remembering. So many things!
